Obituary for Alfred Lacap

Alfred Lacap
Alfred Lacap, 69, of Long Beach, died Friday, February 17, 2017 in Long Beach.

He retired in April of 2004 from Naval Support in New Orleans.

He is preceded in death by his father, Fabio Lacap, Sr., mother, Felcitacion G. Lacap; brother, Fabio Lacap, Jr.; sister, Adriane Lacap, and niece and nephew, Melissa Fernandez and Georget Caberto .

He is survived by his loving wife, Sofia Lacap; sons, John Quincy Lacap, Joshua Lacap, Noah Lacap, and Phillip Suarez; daughters, Anna Hannah and Sita Lacap; brothers, Florante Lacap, Buster Lacap, and Fabie Lacap; sisters, Florita (Fred) Schneider, Flo (Jim) Allen, Florence Recio, Lenny Bagsic, Annie Guzman, and Celia Ann McClellan; six nieces, nine nephews; six grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

The family wishes to extend special gratitude to Stephanie Parker, Terrance Maillho, and the staff of Notre Dame Hospice for the compassionate care and support they gave.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Gulfport. The family will receive friends from 9 am until service time. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Gulfport under the direction of Southern Mississippi Funeral Services.
