Obituary for Porter Lewis Webb
Porter Lewis “P.L.” Webb passed away October 29, 2019 at the VA Hospice care facility in Biloxi, MS.
He was born in Jackson County Mississippi on September 26, 1940 and was a life-long resident of Ocean Springs. He served in the U.S. Navy and worked as a carpenter and for Coast Waterworks until he retired.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Tracy and Lucille Webb, Sr.; two brothers, infant Robert Webb and Tracy Webb, Jr.; three sisters, Edith Guthrie, Nora Moore and Mable Ramsay; a niece, Beverly Elrod, and a nephew, Richard Moore.
He is survived by his Sister- in-Law, Lenora Webb, Brother- in-Law, Marvin Ramsay and numerous nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank the staff in the Niagara Ward at the VA Hospice Center for the excellent care he received. A graveside service and burial will be at the National Veterans Cemetery in Biloxi, MS on Monday, November 4, 2019 at 10:00 a.m.
