Alecia Joan Quitt passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at her home in Diamondhead, MS, surrounded by family. She was born on November 27, 1932, in Lone Wolf, OK, to the late Neva and Gilbert Stephens. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.Joann was preceded in death by her parents, Neva and Gilbert Stephens, a son, Stephen Bunch, grandsons, Elliott Raley and Joe Don Bickerstaff, and great-grandson Raley Jones.She is survived by her husband, Melvin Quitt, her sister, Janell Woolsey (Marion), her son Doug Bunch (Barbara), and three daughters, Paula Bunch, Patti Koeltzow (Tommy), and Dina Solaski, her grandchildren, Erica Jones, Micah Solaski, Matthew Solaski, Patrick Solaski, Jeremy Koeltzow, Doug Koeltzow, Talisa Jewell, Brandi Bunch Carman, Misti Lehman, Jarrett Bunch, James Bailey, Addie Bickerstaff and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.Friends and family are invited to celebrate Joann's life at a visitation to be held Saturday, February 21, 2015, at 12:00 pm, followed by a memorial service at Old Spanish Trail Baptist Church in Bay St. Louis, MS, with the interment to be held Monday, February 23, 2015, at 11:00 am, at Biloxi National Cemetery, 400 Veterans Avenue, Biloxi, MS all under the direction of Southern Mississippi Funeral Services.Share your memories of Mrs. Quitt and send condolences to the family at www.smfs.usTo send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Mrs. Alecia Joan Quitt please visit our Sympathy Store.
