Barbara Ann Vinton, 47, of Gulfport, went to be with the Great Spirit on November 19, 2014.Barbara was American Indian and lived her life to the fullest. She will be best remembered for loving her children, her heart of gold, her love for animals, and nature. She always considered New Hampshire to be her home. She worked as a CNA at Ocean Springs Hospital.She is preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Porter and sister, Mildred House.Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Howard “Dewey” Vinton; sons, Tommy, Torey, Ozzy, and Justin; daughter, Amey Garnett; step daughters, Angel Vinton, and Tasha Savage; brother, John Garnett, Jr.; sisters, Kathy Garnett, Jackie Courier, and Carol Medeiros, and her grandchildren, Zachary, Emily, and Joshua.A celebration of life service will be held in New Hampshire in May of 2015.
