Obituary for Mark Drew Reece

Mark Drew Reece, born August 20, 1960, in Biloxi, and passed away at age 58, on October 5, 2018.

He lived in Biloxi until 2004, when he moved to Ocean Springs. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend to many people. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

Mark graduated from D'Iberville High School in 1978. He went to MS Gulf Coast Community College for HVAC repair. He worked for Ladner Heat and Air, Ball Heating and Air, MS Power Company, and Electric City. He opened his own business, Reece's Heat Air and Appliance Service in 1991.

He loved to go on cruise trips, camping, fishing, and was a New Orleans Saints fan. Mark was a member of Refrigeration Service Engineers Society and the Calypso Carnival Crewe.

Mark is preceded in death by an infant sister, Sherry Elizabeth Reece, and son-in-law, Christopher Webb.

Survivors include his wife, Jammie Mechanic Reece of Ocean Springs, MS; children, one son and four daughters, Phillip Conway (Jamie) of Lakewood Ranch, FL, Laura Bryan (Jason) of D'Iberville, MS, Connie Reece and Kathleen Reece Webb of Biloxi, MS, Kimberly Reece of Vancleave, MS, and eight grandchildren; parents, James Rudolph "Dolphie" and Beverly Reece of Biloxi; sister, Deborah King (Cecil), and his twin sister, Marguerite Barlow (Richard) of Biloxi, MS.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Notre Dame Hospice, 1000 Howard Avenue, 10th Floor, New Orleans, LA 70113.

Visitation will be held at Coalville Methodist Church in Woolmarket on Friday, October 12, 2018, from 10 - 11:00 am. Services will begin at 11:00 am. Burial will immediately follow in Coalville Cemetery across the street from the church.

Southern Mississippi Funeral Services in Ocean Springs is in charge of the arrangements.
