Rodney Lee Jordan, 91, born in Biloxi, on July 22, 1929, passed away on December 29, 2020 with his children at his bedside. He is preceded in death by his parents Patrick & Irma Jordan; son, Jerry Michael Jordan, Sr.; grandson, Jerry Michael Jordan, Jr.; and just three months ago, the love of his life and wife of 70 years, Lillian Martino Jordan.

Survivors include: his son, Patrick (Gail) Jordan; daughter, Rhonda Jordan; grandchildren, Charles Meredith, Jennifer (Todd) Kelly; great grandchildren, Caitlin (Ritchie) Gehrke, Joplyn (Brennan)Kim, Jordan Roberts, Julia Roberts, Calvin Kelly, Cole Meredith & Brennen Meredith; Great-Great Grandchildren, Kaelon, Haeven & Elliet Gehrke.

Rodney was known for his warm smile, outgoing personality and genuine demeanor. He was the epitome of a true gentleman. He will forever be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and the best role model.

He graduated from Notre Dame High School where he excelled in football. After high school he played for the semi pro football team, The Galloping Gales. He married a Sacred Heart homecoming queen and cheerleader in 1950 and started the most magical love story ever told and providing the most amazing and loving home for their children. Some of their fondest memories were from trips they took to see the Ole Miss Rebels. They loved to travel, spend time on the patio with family and mostly, enjoyed cooking and being in the kitchen together. To see the love and dedication they had for each other and their family is something to truly treasure and admire. Their love will continue to live on through us for generations to come because we have some stories to tell.

The family prefers donations to be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Private Services to be held at a later date.
