Mr. Larry Lynn Bowers, 69, of Ocean Springs, died Tuesday, February 6, 2018 in New Orleans.

He is preceded in death by his parents Hearl Bowers and Oree Bowers and two brothers, Emmett and Robert Smith.

He is survived by his wife Judy Bowers; children, Johnny Cole, Fred and Penny Cole, Willie and Alicia Cole, Chris and Danielle Cole, Amanda and Duane Cruthirds, and Steven Bowers; sister, Katie Bowers;15 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.

Larry loved fishing, hunting, and barbecues. He loved to spend time with his family; and loved to work with his hands on different projects. Larry was proud to serve in the United States Army from 1968 to 1971. He served 2 tours in Vietnam.

The family will receive friends from 9:30 -10:30 on Friday, February 9, 2018 at Southern Mississippi Funeral Serivces.

Funeral services will be held following visitation at 10:30 at the funeral home. Interment with military honors will follow in D'iberville Memorial Park under the direction of Southern Mississippi Funeral Services.
