Florence Earlene Sylvester Campbell was born in Pocahontas, Mississippi on February 15th, 1929.

At 17, she married the love of her life, Leon, May 24th 1946. The two shared a life in Jackson, MS with many friends until 2015 when the couple moved to the Mississippi Coast to be closer to family.

Earlene is preceded in death by her loving mother and father, Earl and Buna Sylvester, her stepfather, T.R. Pearson and her brothers, Lewis, Charles and Sam Sylvester.

She leaves behind her adoring husband of 73 years, Leon Campbell, her two children, Steven Campbell and Barbara Campbell Stirpe (Peter) and her grandchildren, Ashlee Lee (Dave) and Casey Campbell.

The Funeral will take place at 1 pm at Southern Mississippi Funeral Services, 6631 Washington Avenue in Ocean Springs on Wednesday, May 9th.

Visitation begins at 1:00 until service time at 2:00.
