Noelie (Lieann) Roots O’Brien (AKA Thunder Woman), 53, of New Orleans

Passed away peacefully on May 23, 2018.



“It was all Grand if it involved Lieann.”



Lieann was a bright star who influenced all of us to strive for Greatness and Experience life at the highest level. She had a passion for life; experiencing and exploring all this world had to offer. She loved playing tennis with her many friends, Spending Summers in Bay St. Louis, Traveling the Globe and Volunteering her time for non-profits. Most of all, Lieann loved the time spent with her family; Sunday Cookouts, New Orleans Parades, Trips to the Beach, Cooking with her brother JP, Beating her sister at Ping Pong, Playing Practical Jokes, Winning at Cards, and last but not least challenging all of us to out-create her at Christmas time[Symbol].



Lieann is survived by her husband Paul O’Brien, her parents Marie and Jeff Roots, her sister Janelle Roots Couret and brother Jeffrey Roots, Jr. and many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.



Funeral services will be held at Mount Carmel Academy’s Chapel on Wednesday May 30. The Wake will be from 10-12, with the funeral immediately following at 12 noon. 7027 Milne Blvd., New Orleans, 70124
