Obituary for Anna Bond

Anna Dworska Bond, age 96, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on July 3, 2018. Anna was born in Lazariakia, Poland on October 5, 1921. She was a member of Northside Assembly of God Church and lived most of her life on the Ms Gulf Coast. She was a strong woman of faith and lived a very simple life. She was a proud, loving mother and wonderful Maw-Maw. She was preceded in death by her parents Basilu and Anastasiae Dworska, husband Leo, daughters Rose Ann Bond and Mary Ann Diaz.

She is survived by her children Diana(David)Fayard, Leo(Christa)Bond and son-in-law Michael Diaz. Grandchildren David(Deedy) Fayard, Shelley(Glenn)Emerson, Jason and Calon Diaz, and Jake, Joshua and Jeni Bond. Great grandchildren Shelby Strayham, Karlee, Kae Marie and Kade Emerson and Sophie Grace Fayard.

Anna lived her last days at River Chase Village in Gautier, MS. She loved singing gospel songs and playing Skip-Bo with her treasured friends Lois Roberts and JoBeth Adams. Anna was in control of her life until the end and did things her own way.

The family would like to express appreciation to River Chase Village staff for loving and taking care of our Mother. Also, a special thank you to Notre Dame Hospice for giving comfort care to Mom in her last days.

The family has chosen private services for Anna D. Bond at this time.
