Ms. Barbara Fournier, 75, of Biloxi, died Thursday, August 2, 2018 in Biloxi.

She was born and raised in Biloxi where she graduated from Biloxi High School. She was a long time member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in D'Iberville where she was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul. She was also a member of the Cousins Club and the D'Iberville Senior Center group.

She was a fun loving person who never met a stranger. There was never a dull moment with her and she will be remembered as the "Cool Mom". She was adored by her children and was their shoulder, strength, and entertainment all their lives. She treasured sharing Saints Sundays with her children and grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Madeline Kopszywa, Jr.

Survivors include her children, Doty (Jayne) Fournier, III, Susie (John) LeGrand, Michael Fournier, Sr., and Tommy (Heather Eaker) Fournier; siblings, Marie K. Ward, Carol (Beau) Buisson, Angie (Harry) Wheeler, Madeline (Steve) Stephenson, and Eddie (Arlean) Kopszywa; grandchildren, Joey (Annie) O'Brien, Doty Fournier, IV, Ashley Drew Fournier, Michael Fournier, Jr., Thomas Aven Fournier, D.J. LeGrand, Madison, and great grandchildren, Kailey and Amaiya. She is also survived by a host of special and beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends who adored her.

The family will receive friends from 10 am until 12 pm on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Mass of Christian Burial following at noon. Private inurnment will follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in Ms. Barbara's memory to St. Vincent dePaul, C/O Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 10446 Lemoyne Blvd., D'Iberville, Mississippi 39540.
