Jonathan M. Genna, 72, passed away on August 15, 2018 in Gulfport, MS.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Susan Genna; parents, Andrew Frank Genna and Rose Little Taylor; brothers, Manor Ladner, David Genna, and Andrew Genna; sister, Nora Yvonne Bouganim and his granddaughter, Jennifer Ralph.

He is survived by his sister, Veda Genna; daughters, Gloria Ramirez and Nora Genna Oriol (Patrick); son, Jonathan Roy Genna (Katie); step-children, Michelle Moore, Todd Lenton and Carolyn Butler; eight grandchildren, Jessica Gauthreaux, Abigale Ramsay, Madison Oriol, Payton Genna, Mallory Genna, Grace Genna, Reese Genna and Ella Genna. He will be deeply missed by numerous great grandchildren, step grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Jonathan was born on Christmas day in New Orleans, LA in 1945. He was an avid hunter who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He also loved to travel and was an excellent carpenter by trade.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, August 20, 2018 at the Bayou La Croix Cemetery in Bay St Louis, MS.
