Tyree L. "Big Guy" Jimerson, Sr. was born on January 12, 1961, and grew up in St. Martin. He worked in the Auto Paint and Body business for 35 years. He died on August 24, 2018 after a long battle with cancer.

Tyree enjoyed fishing, playing poker, and spending time with the family; was also a second-degree black belt. Tyree greeted everyone with the biggest smile ever and never met a stranger!

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Taylor Jimerson; father, John L. Jimerson, and brother, Tommie Jimerson.

Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Angie Jimerson; son, Tyree "Bubba" Jimerson, Jr (Tara); grandson, Mason Jimerson; mother, Gloria Jimerson; brothers, Timothy and Terrill Jimerson, and sister Tanya Jimerson. He is also survived by two grandchildren that were like his own, Joseph "Jo Jo" and Destiny "Desi" Drieling, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other family members and his beloved dog, Jeezy.

A celebration of life service is being planned for a future date.
