Dear Dina and family,
I was so surprised and saddened to see Mel’s picture and obituary in the Times Picayune on Wednesday. It noted that he had died peacefully at home and I hope that this meant that he had not been ill and suffering. I know that he has certainly missed your mom as have all of you and now they will be together again. I know that their absence will leave a void in your life and those of your children. I wish peace and comfort for all of you and I will remember your family in my thoughts and prayers.

Just wanted to say goodbye to a nice guy who was among the first I met upon moving to Diamondhead. Enjoyed our relationship on the golf course, fantasy football, and whenever we were together. Mel will be missed.
