Obituary for Samuel Tony Wilson Jr.

Samuel Tony Wilson, Jr., 58, went home to be with the Lord on September 20, 2018, in Biloxi, MS.

He was born in Donaldsonville, Louisiana on November 11,1960. He served in both the Army and U.S Marine Corps.
He enjoyed reading, writing, spending time with anyone around him and making us laugh with his creative stories. Loved playing football when he was young, painting, fishing, and riding his bike all around town. His passion was cooking, and was an excellent Chef, who often created wonderful meals and banquets for his friends and family. He was known as "Tony" to us, and "Mr. Sam" to his friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Wilson, Sr. and Celestine Dorsey Wilson.

Survivors include his loving children, Michael L. Wilson, Matthew R. Wilson, and Samuel Tony Wilson, III, Daughter-in-law, Leila Perea-Lowery, Two-granddaughters, Namia and Saida. Brothers, Robert Wilson, Fallon E. Wilson, James L. Wilson. Sisters, Janice Wilson, Joyce Boykin, Leslie W. Nicholas, Lesia R. Breedlove, and Linda Wilson.

The family wishes to extend special gratitude to Dr.Cynthia Helwig, who was always a loving friend and mentor to him through the years. Tiffany & Jordan Burton, loving neighbors whom he considered a part of his family. Cindy P. Necaise and the entire Royal Gulf apartment community, who loved and cared for him as more than just a tenant. The family also wishes to extend special gratitude to VA HUDVASH program, Tina Cvitanavich SW, Eileen Burks SW, Paul Landry RN, Andrea Monroe, and the Kindred Hospice of Biloxi, Blakeney Pierpont, Addie Walters RN, Sharon Tadej.

He will be dearly missed by all of us. Rest easy, Tony. We love you.
