William Francis White Sr., A.K.A "Cooter" and "Mr. Bill", passed away peacefully, Tuesday morning, September 8, at his home surrounded by loved ones. He was born July 13, 1949 in Pascagoula to Jean and Alice White. He was a 1967 graduate of Pascagoula High School. He was known as "Mr. Bill" to several generations of men, women, and children during his 45 years barbering at his shop, Bill and Betty's Shear Magic. He gave many folks their first and/or last haircut in those years prior to his retirement for medical issues.

Bill was a devoted son, brother, husband, uncle, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jean White and Alice (Jack) Keenan; his sisters: Shirley (Tommy) Dalton, Eileen (Ron) Johnson; brother, Richard (Judy) White, and nephew Kevin Greer.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 51 years, Betty White; his son, William (Charlotte) White Jr.; daughters: Stacy (Brandon) Nelson and Tammy (Brian) Dye; his grandchildren: Ashley (Cameron) McCormick, Heather (Preston) Cirlot, Kaitlyn Dye, Brittany White, Brooke Brancamp, Kirsten Dye, Victoria Nelson, Chase Nelson; and his great-granddaughter, Lyla Kate Cirlot; his sisters: Linda Greer, Elizabeth Benefield, and Pat Keenan, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Per his wishes there will be no funeral. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
