Obituary for Sonya Danell Ladner (Shoemaker)
Sonya Danell (Shoemaker) Ladner, 50, of Biloxi, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at her home surrounded by family and friends.
She was an avid scrapbooker who also enjoyed camping, racing, spending time with family, friends, and most of all her granddaughter Addyson.
She is preceded in death by her father, Thomas Shoemaker I; and her son, Michael Ladner, Jr.
She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Michael Ladner; mother, Barbara Butiro; step-mother, Darlene Shoemaker; children, Shawndee Lichelle Rutherford (Christopher), Morgan Shyanne Thompson (Jeffrey); brother, Thomas "Bubba" Shoemaker II (Sabra); sisters, Tammy Darlene Cooper and April Gail Shoemaker (Billy Smith), as well as nieces and nephews; Brooke, Tommy, Mackenzee, Garrett, Courtlyn, and Abygail; and her adoring granddaughter Addyson.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Sonya's caring work family.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Southern Mississippi Funeral Services. Family is invited for private visitation from 10 am-11 am and public visitation will be open to friends from 11 am-1 pm. A service will be held at 1 o'clock with Brother Javan Jenkins officiating.
