Obituary for Daniel Peter Marie Jr.
Daniel Peter Marie, Jr, 67, of Pass Christian, passed away Saturday, January 26, 2019 in Gulfport, MS.
Daniel had many hobbies and loved fishing, his biggest love in life was his grandchildren and one great grandchild. He also worked for the Mississippi Department Of Transportation. His favorite saying in life was “Tah Gah”.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Daniel P. Marie, Sr and Thelma Smith; brother, Corbert Marie; sister-in-law, Zella Mae Marie; nieces, Katina Marie and Darlene Marie; nephew, Vincent Marie.
He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Berylyn Matheny Marie; son, Daniel P. Marie, III (Catina); daughter, Kimberlee Marie. grandchildren; Daniel Marie, IV, Michael Marie, Trey Marie, Dustin Necaise, Dawson Necaise, Ashton Clolinger and Abby Marie and great granddaughter Isabella Marie; brother, Dave Marie, Sr (Angelena); brother-in-law, Avron Holbrook; sister-in-law, Norma Holbrook. He will also be missed by Scott, Chris, Peter, Dave, Becki, Amy, Monica, David, Matthew, Brian, Victor, and many cousins, aunts and uncles.
He will also be missed by a brother/friend of over 30 years, Martin Florez.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 1, 2019 from 5:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Edgewater Christian Fellowship Center, Biloxi, MS. A service will follow at 6:00 pm with a reception to follow.
