Obituary for Paul Jefferson Barske
Paul J Barske, 72 of Hattiesburg Ms passed away on June 5, 2019 at Merit Health in Biloxi, Ms
Born to the late Jefferson Beaver and Matilda Beaver Dec 21, 1946 in Wisconsin.
He enjoyed life and was a practical joker and loved children. He was a member of the American Legion, Lifetime member of the Veteran Foreign Wars, Mason of Perry Lodge 366 of Brooklyn, Ms and a member of the D’Iberville Moose Lodge 332. He was very active in the lodge and worked diligently to raise money for the children at Mooseheart and the seniors at Moosehaven. He gave more than money; he gave of his heart and time to others.
He loved his fishing and sitting around talking to friends new and old. He was very proud of the time he served in the Air Force to protect this nation.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents Jefferson Beaver and Matilda Beaver, two brothers Shaun and Michael Barske.
Paul is survived by his wife Selma Barske. He has two sisters Patricia Hagenburg and Pamela Beaver. He is survived by his two step children Gina Burkhalter-McCool and Terry Burkhalter (Debbie). He is survived by 4 children Paul “Jeff” Barske (Dawn), Robert Barske (Rebecca), Stephanie Bock (Ken), Jeanna Caves (Brad), He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at the D’Iberville Moose Lodge (5145 W Gay Road D’Iberville, MS 39540) June 15th at 2 pm.
