Joseph Larry Jerkins, 75, of Pascagoula, MS died September 4, 2019.
He was born June 1, 1944 in Louisville, MS. He was preceded in death by his parent, Joseph Fred and Eva Grace Jerkins and mother-in-law Blanche Cook.
He worked at Ingalls Shipbuilding for 32 years as a Graphics Artist in the Reprographics Department.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Cornelia “Corky” Cook Jerkins of Pascagoula, MS; two daughters, Christie Busby, Houston, TX and Kim (Hal) Hopper, Mobile, AL; two sisters, Brenda Jerkins and Sandi (John) Maggard, Pascagoula, MS; one brother, Doug Jerkins; Grandchildren, Nicole (Dom) Duplichien, McHenry, MS; Andrew Forsman, Little Rock, AR; Alexandrea Forsman, Mobile, AL; Matthew Martin, Dallas, TX and Kalyn Busby, Houston, Tx. Two great-granddaughters Zoey and Zelda Duplichien, McHenry, MS.
According to his wishes, Larry will be cremated and there will be no services. Donations may be made to the Jackson County Animal Shelter in his name.
