I never met Chad in person, but he never felt like a stranger and he never left any doubt about his friendship. He could shoot the bull on all sorts of silly stuff, but he could also be thoughtful and understanding when the situation called for it. He went through a lot in his time on Earth, but he kept going as best he could. He was a strong and caring family man, and my life is already poorer with his absence. I will never be able to look at Boba Fett or our beloved New Orleans Saints without thinking of him.

Rest in peace, Chad. You earned Paradise as far as I'm concerned.

Chad was a genuine and caring father, grandfather and friend. I hope his family know just how far and wide his warmth and wit travelled. The world was better with him in it. My deepest sympathies to those suffering from his untimely departure, and my sincere condolences to his family.

Chad was a wonderful man. A good husband, son, brother, nephew, cousin, uncle, and friend. He will be missed by so many people many of whom were not kin by blood but by heart. I thank the good Lord for the 45 years that he was my nephew. My only wish is that he could have been with us for many more years. I love you, Chad. You will not be forgotten.
