Ms Doris Mae Vallo Fortner, 88, born February 10, 1931, of Ocean Springs, MS passed away on January 13, 2020.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Agnes Savoy Vallo and Clayeous (Black) Vallo; her husband, William Fortner, Sr.; her siblings, Betty Vallo Landry and Alvin (Pete) Vallo; sons, William Fortner, Jr. and Randy Fortner; grandchildren, Laura Moore Stapleton and Richard Moore; and great grandson, Andrew Keller.
She is survived by her children, Sandra (Gerald) Calvert, Carol (Larry) Hebert, Frank Fortner, John (Jackie) Fortner and Pamela Fortner; daughter-in-law, Abbie Fortner. Grandchildren, Kay (Rick) Daneault, Melissa Tindol, Amy (Doug) Williams, Cindy (Tom) Emch, Chrissy (Brian) Hanson, Ronnie (Jamie) Davis, Alex Davis. Great grandchildren, John Davis, Thomas Davis, Charlotte Davis, Allison Daneault, Kevin Keller, Jr., Tiffany (Lucas) Bennett, Halie Emch, Savannah Moore, Shelby Moore, Charmaine Stapleton, Harry Moore ,Clay Moore, Christian (Zoe) Moore, Gabrielle Sharp, Jacob Tindol, Jeremy (Van) Tindol, Johnathan Tindol, and Alexis Williams. Ms Doris was a loving woman and mother. She adored all of her children,grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She enjoyed spending her time with family and quilting.
She will be loved and missed by her family who cherished her.
