Obituary for Alexandria Nicole Minter (Stiglets)

Alexandria Nicole Stiglets Minter of St. Matin was tragically taken from this earthly home on January 16, 2020 at the age of 27. Nicole passed due to injuries sustained in a vehicle accident on Seaman Road in St. Martin.

She was born on May 15, 1992 in New Orleans, Louisiana to her loving parents, Christina Wade Tovar and Alex Tovar Jr., whom with broken hearts survive her.

Nicole spent most of her early childhood in Michigan and moved to Mississippi when she was 7 years old.

She graduated from St. Martin High School in 2010 with advanced honors in the top of her class. She was a member of ROTC, FBLA, BETA club, HOSA, Spanish club and Spanish Honor Society, Junior Civitan, BACC and Senior Cabinet. She was active in community service at school and with her church youth group. She was continuing her education with the intention of pursuing her long time dream of becoming an OBGYN.

She started working at Nick's Wash-N-Dry in D'Iberville where everyone that met her loved her. She worked at the Hampton Inn for the past 8 years. She loved working there and had advanced to assistant manager.

She always had a smile on her face! She was the most selfless young woman. She would do anything for anyone and always put others first. She was a friend to everyone. She loved frogs, the colors green and purple, and also chocolate. She loved to sing and dance. Her laugh was precious.

Nicole was the most amazing mother. Her children were her life. She leaves behind three beautiful children, Tera 7 years old, Jade, 3 years old and Karter, 1. She is also survived by her loving husband Billy Minter.

She dearly loved her siblings and would do anything for them. She leaves behind her brothers, Scott and Chris Stiglets; sisters, Victoria Tovar and Tonya Tovar Madia and husband Jeff, all of St. Martin; grandparents; Dorothy and Robert Ross; nieces and nephews, Cole and Ariel Stiglets, Titan and Damario Tovar, and Alexiyah Buckley; aunts and uncles, Veronica Tovar, Vanessa and Robert Mann, Robert and Dot Wade, Anthony and Christina Wade and Tudy Tovar; cousins, Tiffany "Sissy" Johnson, Derek Trosclair, Wayne Champagne, Roger King, Phillip, Rabert, Anthony, Bradley, Sarah and Stacy Wade, Terrell Tovar, Isabella, Jasmine and Robert Mann, Jr., Rayna Solano, John Michael Fuller and Destiny Drespo; as well as many friends that loved her dearly.

Nicole was proceeded by her grandparents, Wayne Wade, Isabel and Alex Tovar Sr.; and aunts, Angela Wade and Virginia "Gina" Fuller.
