Obituary for Charles Lavone Wilmoth
Charles L. Wilmoth, 82, passed away on March 24, 2020 at Ocean Springs Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Charles was born December 11,1937 in Pevely, MO. Five years ago he relocated to the MS Gulf Coast and resided locally in Ocean Springs.
Charles loved to watch sports and westerns. He also enjoyed going to the casinos with his son.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Mary G. Wilmoth (Hill) and Rudy L. Wilmoth, both of Pevely, MO; brothers, Dale Wilmoth, and Gene Wilmoth; and also his great-granddaughter, Shelby LeeAnna Kaye Boyer.
Charles is survived by his adoring wife of 66 years, Charlotte R. Wilmoth; four children, Charles L. Wilmoth, Jr. of Ocean Springs, Cindy A. Degonia of High Ridge, MO, Brenda K. Freeman of Barnhart, MO, and Pam R. Patterson of Springfield, MO; sisters, Betty Wilmoth, and Linda Wilmoth; his two loving caregivers, also grandchildren, Brittany C. Wilmoth, and Gabriel N. Wilmoth, both of Ocean Springs; nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Charles will be missed and fondly remembered by his loving family. A celebration of life is to be held at a later date.
