Obituary for Steven Girouard Moran
It is with deepest sorrow, we said goodbye to our son, father, brother, uncle and friend Steven, who passed away May 29, 2020 at the age of 41. Steven Girouard Moran was born September 13, 1978, in Biloxi, MS.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joe and Dorothy Moran; and maternal grandparents, Willis and Dorothy Page.
He was the son of Richard and Dorothy Moran; and father to Emily Sanders and Chase Moran.
In addition to his parents and children, Steven is survived by his family, who will miss him terribly, including his sisters Corinna (Joe) Cannette, Eva (Frank King) Moran, and Jennifer (Brandon) Newman; brothers, Peter (Ashley) Moran and Wayne (Stephanie) Moran; his nephew, Blake Moran; along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and all who knew him.
Steven was a graduate of St. Martin High School. His greatest passions in life were his children whom he bragged and boasted about constantly. His entire career was spent in Telecommunications and Fire Alarm Safety. Steven understood his great lineage of his family and loved the gulf coast community. Whether he was boating, swimming, or working, he loved the town and all the people.
Few people knew his big heart and hysterical humor, but those family and friends that did will forever be changed by his presence and by his loss. We love you son, dad, brother, uncle, and plain ole Stevie. You will never be forgotten!
A private memorial will be held at a later date.
