Obituary for John Bryant Jr.
John Bryant, Jr. (76) of Gulfport, Mississippi, passed away on November 2, 2020, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Bryant loved to fish as well as spend time with his family. He is preceded in death by his parents, John Bryant, Sr. and Ora Lee (Smith) Bryant. Mr. Bryant was born in Gulfport and spent his life there.
His surviving members of his family are his wife of 57 years, Mary Hawthorne Bryant, and his children; John (Lena) Bryant, III, Jittaun Thomas, Robin (Rogacki) Thornton. His siblings are Mary Hendrith, Louisa White and Ricky Bryant. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, greatgrandchildren and other relatives and friends.
There will be a Memorial Service on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Southern Mississippi Funeral Services, 6631 Washington Avenue, Ocean Springs, MS. The visitation will begin at noon until 2 p.m. for the public and the service time will be at 2 p.m.
The family of John Bryant, Jr. sincerely appreciates the many acts of loving kindness, phone calls, visits and prayers as well as many other thoughtful expressions of sympathy extended during the loss of our loved one.
