Obituary

Brenda Dale Entrekin Everett of Biloxi, MS, 79, went home to be with the Lord on December 8, 2020. She retired in 2018 to spend more time with her family. Prior to retiring she worked at Cedar Lake Christian Academy and Preschool for 18 years as a devoted pre-k teacher. She thoroughly enjoyed her time there with her babies. Before starting her teaching career she owned and operated Watt’s Grocery with her husband and family for 18 years. She graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 1959. She was crowned Miss Flame of Biloxi 1957. Brenda enjoyed cutting grass, working in the yard, working her puzzles, watching football, softball, NASCAR, and almost any sport. She carried on her mother’s love of sewing and crocheting, and enjoyed crafting. Brenda’s pride and joy was her family. She loved watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren play soccer, softball, baseball, basketball, volleyball, and participate in karate, dance, and boat racing. She truly was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She was a devout Christian and loved the Lord. She was a very selfless, caring, and giving person who put everyone before herself.

Brenda is preceded in death by her father Elbert Entrekin, her mother Bernadette Entrekin, and her sisters Diane Larabie (Phil), and Marie Entrekin.

Brenda is survived by her husband of 58 ½ years, Pat Everett Sr., her son Pat Everett Jr. (Cheryl), her daughters Rhonda Creech (James), and Melissa Krohn (Matthew), her grandchildren Jordan Creech, Jessalyn Sullivan (Adam), Samantha Creech, Madison Butt (Randy), Michael Cox III and Gabrielle Cox, her great grandchildren Ely Sullivan and Wyleigh Grace Butt, her sisters Sherry Barrett (late William “PeeWee”) and Sandy Prevost (Joel), and many nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

Brenda will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was a blessing to every life she touched.

Visitation will be at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Woolmarket, Ms on Friday, December 11, 2020 from 10-11 AM, followed by mass at 11 AM. Burial will be at White Plains Cemetery. Please wear a mask and practice social distancing for the safety of the family and all who attend.
