Brandy Lynn McCoy
Brandy Lynn McCoy, age 43, of Vancleave, Mississippi, passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2020, from a long battle with cancer. She was in her home surrounded by her family. She was born on December 16, 1977 in Biloxi, MS to Carolyn and Randy Mitchell. She worked as a boat clerk at Ingalls Shipbuilding.
Brandy is preceeded in death by her son, Michael McCoy and her daddy, Robert Dale Bang. She is survived by her loving husband of 19 years, Albert McCoy, three daughters; Savannah Mitchell of Florence, MS, Curstin McCoy of Biloxi, and Halie McCoy of Vancleave; her best friend and loving mother, Carolyn Mitchell, two brothers; Gary (Tara) Mitchell, Patrick (Andrea) Mitchell; two sisters, Lisa (Frank) Carter, Amanda (Chris) Mitchell. She also is survived by host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Brandy was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Brandy loved having her family time, Sunday fun days, pool parties, fishing with her husband and family cookouts. She enjoyed reading, camping and family vacations.
Services will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2020, from 4 until 6 p.m. at Southern MS Funeral Services, 6631 Washington Avenue, Ocean Springs, MS. The service will follow the visitation at 6 p.m.

Albert McCoy would like to give a special thanks to his mother-in-law, Carolyn Mitchell, as well as his sisters-in-law, Amanda and Tara for all the help and support during Brandy’s fight.
