Obituary for Mario Alanis Jr.

Mario Alanis, Jr., of Ocean Springs, died January 31, 2021 as a result of a car accident. He was born August 18, 1999, in Houston, Texas. Mario was the son of Flor Bonilla. He attended Ocean Springs Schools and graduated from Ocean Springs High School in 2019. He was currently enrolled at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College for an associate degree in nursing as a rehabilitation nurse.

Mario is survived by his parents; Flor Bonilla and Mario Alanis, Sr., his brothers; Ismael and Isaac. He also leaves his maternal grandmother, Mirna Bonilla. He is survived by his stepfather, Edwin Rivera, and his close friends; Kobe Marquez, Anthony Reyes, Trais Hayda, Tre Elliott, Colby Freeman and Macguire Holliman.

Mario loved vintage music and clothes. He enjoyed playing guitar and was very passionate for tours and music. He was a huge fan of the Houston Astros and Rockets. He had plans to revisit Houston's Astroworld. He was a very caring and humble person. Mario loved and cared a lot for both his brothers. He was especially proud of his little brother, Isaac, whom he loved dearly. The love and care for his brother, Ismael, was infinitive. He had two very important women in his life; one being his mother, Flor and the other his grandmother, Mirna.

His services will be held in the chapel at Southern Mississippi Funeral Services, 6631 Washington Avenue, Ocean Springs, on Friday, February 5, 2021. The public visitation begins at 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. will services at 2 in the chapel. Interment will be at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Ocean Springs following the service.
