Melissa is known by her friends and family as Missy Gray. She was a member of the St. Martin and D’Iberville community for all her life. She was born on Sunday, March 14, 1971. Throughout her years of growing up she made many wonderful memories. During the 80’s she was a part of the speed skating team for Golden Gate Skate Land. In the early 90’s Missy was a member of the Dance Team at Michael’s Country Club. She was part of the St. Martin High School class of 1991. She worked at The Grand Casino and Jackson County School District, in the cafeteria, but Missy’s best job was being a mother to her daughter. Missy was called home on Thursday, April 1,2021.
Missy is proceeded in death by John Thomas and Lillian Gray (grandparents), Benny Gray (Uncle), Holly Hendricks (Sister) and family members that went before her. Missy is survived by Brenda Lovelace (Mother), her brothers Michael (Carol) Redmond, Jimmy (Jamie) Hendricks, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Missy is also survived by her pride and joy, Holly Mallet, her daughter.
