Obituary for Andrew Dexter Thorne
Andrew Dexter Thorne, 28, passed away on Easter Sunday, April 4, 2021. Andrew was a native of Ocean Springs. He graduated from St, Martin High School and followed up his education at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in Gautier. He excelled in his school endeavors.
He is survived by his fiance', Olivia Yarber, a baby girl due in October (Claire Rose Thorne); his parents, Marcus and Cam Thorne, his brother, Victor as well as his grandparents; Herb and Barbara Glover of Oklahoma and Valerie Smith of Gulfport, MS. Andrew had several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that he left behind.
Andrew was always striving to accomplish great things in his life. His love for life in general carried him through the trying times. He was very spirit filled and loved the idea of being a dad.
Southern Mississippi Funeral Services will be handling the service and visitation on behalf of his family. The visitation will be on Friday, April 9 from 1 until 2 with service at 2 pm. at the chapel, 6631 Washington Avenue, Ocean Springs.
