Obituary for Johnnie Wesley Moe
Johnnie Wesley Moe, 78, of Vancleave, Mississippi, passed away at his home on Monday, April 12, 2021.
He was born on July 13, 1942 to Ruble Lyle Moe and Myrtle Helena Moe (now both deceased) in Ocean Springs, MS and has been a lifetime resident of Vancleave, MS. He was a member of Vancleave RLDS Church. He was known for his generosity, selflessness, compassion, humor and big smile, but above all his love for Jesus Christ. He was loved by many and will remain in our hearts and memories forever.
He was proceeded in death by his parents Ruble Lyle Moe and Myrtle Helena Moe, his wife Shirley Ann Moe and son Eddie Dwayne Moe.
He was survived by his daughter Cindy Kay Moe and son Shannon Wesley Moe. He had 8 grandchildren, Kaleb Carrington, Dylan Moe, Austin Moe, April Suthoff, Justin Clark, Angela Bellman, Allen Moe and Steven Moe . He also had 5 great grandchildren.
His memorial will be held at Vancleave RLDS Church, 12205 Mt. Pleasant Church, Vancleave, MS 39565, on Saturday, April 24, 2021. His visitation will be from 10:00 – 11 am with services at 11 am. Services open to the public, please come join us in celebration of Johnnie’s life. There will be lunch following the service.
Southern Mississippi Funeral Services will be handling arrangements on behalf of his family.
