Obituary for William Arthur Shotts
William "Bill" Shotts, 80, passed away at his daughter's home in Ocean Springs on May 12, 2021 after a lengthy illness. He is preceded in death by his parents Nathaniel and Katie Shotts, Sr. of Laurel, MS. He was also preceded in death his son, Whitney Keith Shotts.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Margaret Ann (Welborn) Shotts and his daughter and her husband, Tina and Jamey Darnell all of Ocean Springs. He is survived by multiple family members and friends from Laurel to the Mississippi Gulf Coast. During his career, he specialized as an Head Operator at Chevron in which he retired at the age of 51.
Southern MS Funeral Services in Ocean Springs will be handling the arrangements on behalf of his family.
