Obituary for Deborah Lynn Lindquist (Hebert)
Ms. Deborah Hebert "Cuz" Lindquist, 69, of St. Martin passed away on Friday, July 9, 2021 in Ocean Springs, MS.
Deborah was a lifelong resident of the Coast. She worked many years at the Broadwater Beach Hotel and Resort in the Housekeeping/Laundry Departments. She tended bar at O'Diddles in St. Martin as well, where she was lovingly called "Cuz". Deb enjoyed being a part of the pool league and enjoyed cooking for her friends and family. She helped to volunteer and fundraise as a member of the D'Iberville Moose Lodge Chapter 528.
Deborah was preceded in death by her parents Ivy and Hazel (Brossett) Hebert. Also, her youngest son; Ivy Paul Smith, three sisters; Frances Hebert, Edna "Marie" Jarrell and Monica Perkins, and one brother; Anthony Hebert.
She is survived by her daughter; Cheryl (Pat, Jr.) Everett and her son; Felix "Charles" Smith, III. Her remaining sisters; Susan Mallette, Grace (Roger) Green, Hazel "Pepper" (Frank) Gill, and Julie "Kim" (John) Griffin, her grandchildren; Jessalyn (Adam) Sullivan, Madison (Randy) Butt, Ashton, Haydon and Dallas Smith, Brandon and Blake Smith. Deb was lovingly known as GiGi to her great grandchildren; Ely Sullivan and Wyleigh Grace Butt.
Our mom had many nieces and nephews, cousins, and very close friends who were like brothers and sisters, and she loved them dearly. We appreciate you.
A celebration of life ceremony will be held at McClellan Road Baptist Church, Friday, July 16, 2021. Visitation will be 10:00 A.M. - 11:00 A.M. Service will begin at 11:00 A.M.
