Obituary for Craig Steven Taylor
CRAIG STEVEN TAYLOR
NOVEMBER 1, 1961 – MAY 6, 2022
On Friday, May 6, 2022, Craig Steven Taylor left this world to join his mother, Elizabeth Ranatza, his father, Charles Taylor and brothers Edward and Paul Taylor. Craig was surrounded by his children, Steven Taylor and Rachel Taylor, his sister, Pam Pack, and the love of his life, Dina Solaski when he entered the gates of Heaven. Craig was also a grandfather to two beautiful girls, Shayla Taylor and Emerson Jackson, and two grandsons, LJ Gee and Evan Taylor.
Craig retired from Tidewater Marine as a ship captain where he received an accommodation for rescuing people on a sinking boat in the Gulf of Mexico. He loved working on old cars and fishing at the beach.
Craig had a big heart. He would always help those in need even when he didn’t have much and donated monthly to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. He was a firm believer in our Lord, Jesus Christ. He was an avid reader of the Bible.
A private memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. for friends and family to celebrate Craig’s life. As Craig would say, “That’s a Wrap.”
