Allen Gray Sheely Jr., age 59, of Vancleave, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2022. He was born in Gulfport and was a lifelong resident of the Coast. He was a member of the Methodist church. He served in the U.S. Navy and worked offshore as an engineer for 30 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Allen G. Sheely Sr. and Deanna Sheely Davis (James Davis).

He is survived by the love of his life, his wife, whom he shared a fairytale romance with, Juanita C. Sheely. "Death ends a life but not a relationship"; two sons, Craig "Andrew" Bentz (Lauren), Caleb Sheely; two daughters, Amanda Smith (Logan) and Ashley Harmon; one expected grandchild due December 2022; his sister, Sandra Wright (David); two brothers, Steven Dale Sheely and Stephen M. Davis; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. To his family, he was always a protector and defender and a "big brother" to all.

At his request, Allen will be cremated and a small celebration of life will be Saturday, July 16, 2022, at Heritage United Methodist Church, 4322 Popps Ferry Rd. Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Service will begin at 2:00 P.M.
