Obituary for Randall Ray Ide

Randall Ray Ide, loving husband of Becky Lynn (Watson) Ide, passed away in his Biloxi home on December 25, 2022, following a long struggle with cancer. Born on August 26, 1953 in Wichita Falls, TX, Randy was a veteran of the US Air Force. He was always up for an adventure, traveling and living in many states and countries throughout his life. He arrived in Carriere, Mississippi 30 years ago and built a life overflowing with friends and family before moving to Biloxi in 2016. Randy was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He loved football, golf, fishing, hunting, telling stories of his escapades, debating politics, and just spending time with those he loved. Randy is preceded in death by his parents (Billie Jo Yancey and Ronald Ide) and sister Gloria. He is survived by his wife of 43 years; his daughter Heather Ide (Justin Miller) and two grandchildren, Aidan and Arielle; his son Michael Ide (Brett Bailey); his sister Susan; and many deeply loved nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends. Randy loved to entertain, cooking at gatherings of friends and family and taking care that all were welcome, and that none left hungry. To honor these memories, the family asks that loved ones donate to or volunteer with food banks in their local communities. A celebration of Randy’s life will be held at the Biloxi VA National Cemetery at 9:00 a.m., Friday Dec. 30, 2022.
