Carol Sue Trochesset Bertucci, age 76 of Woolmarket passed away peacefully on October 23, 2022, surrounded by her family. Carol was born on August 18,1946 in Biloxi, MS. She was a graduate of D’Iberville High School and a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Woolmarket, MS.Carol dedicated her life to taking care of her husband and three children. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Sunday lunches, and any and all family gatherings.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents, John V. and Emma “Sue” Trochesset, Sr.

Carol is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Kenneth P. Bertucci, Sr., her sons, Kenny Bertucci, Jr. and David (Brenda) Bertucci, and her daughter, Melissa (Ricky) Thornton, all from Woolmarket. She was blessed to have six grandchildren, Shawn Bertucci, Lauren (Matthew) Whiteside, Sarah Bertucci, Kenny Paul Bertucci, III, Alexis (Austin) Sharp and Sydney Thornton, and five great-granchildren, Emerson Whiteside, Oaklyn Whiteside, Beckett Whiteside, Gatlin Whiteside, and Hudson Sharp; siblings, John V. (Judy) Trochesset, Jr., Edith Waltman, Stephen (Pam) Trochesset, Francis (Janice) Trochesset, Millie (Carroll) Hebert, and Mickey (Pat) Trochesset; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral Services will be on Friday, October 28, 2022, beginning with a visitation from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Woolmarket, 8343 Woolmarket Road, Biloxi, MS 39532, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery, 400 Veterans Avenue, Biloxi, MS 39531, at 11 a.m. A reception will be held at St. Mary’s Parish Hall immediately following burial at Biloxi National Cemetery.

The family would like to thank Dr. Bethala at Biloxi Internal Medicine, Dr. Pamela Tuli and the Infusion Center at Memorial Health System at Cedar Lake, Biloxi, MS, Dr. Brandon Smaglo and Staff at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX, Memorial Hospital 4th Floor Staff, and the Amazing Staff at St. Joseph Hospice on Broad Avenue in Gulfport, MS for taking such wonderful care of someone who was so special to us.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to St. Joseph Hospice, 1240 Broad Avenue, Gulfport, MS 39501 in memory of Carol S. Bertucci.
