Obituary for Pat Arlen Everett Sr.

Pat Arlen Everett, Sr., 81, of Biloxi, MS, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family, providing his beloved wife, Brenda, of 58 1/2 years with one final Christmas gift… joining her in heaven. He was a lifelong resident of Biloxi, MS. He graduated from D’Iberville High School in 1959. Pat served 6 years in the US Army National Guard, from June 1959 to June 1965. Through the years he was employed at Ingalls Shipbuilding, Everett’s Conoco working alongside his brother Buster, and owned and operated Watts Grocery with his wife Brenda and family. He also was an employee of D’Iberville Parks and Recreation and Harrison County Road Department. Pat was a member of Polar Star Masonic Lodge where he became a Master Mason in 1978. He enjoyed being outside to include: hunting, fishing, and keeping his beloved yard manicured to the standard of (as his sister Sherry would say), Bellingrath Gardens. He enjoyed supporting his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren in their many endeavors.
Through his life, Pat instilled in his family strong work ethics, honesty, good morals, and that a man should stand by his word. Pat chose to do God’s work through giving to others selflessly.

Pat is preceded in death by his loving wife Brenda of 58 1/2 years, his father James Claiborne Everett, his mother Gussie Carver Everett Stovall, his sisters Pauline Cannette (Lester), Sherry Sue Glennamen (Micky), Elizabeth Cannette (Pete), his brothers James “Junior” Everett (Lillian), and Harrison “Buster” Everett.

Pat is survived by his children Pat Everett Jr. (Cheryl), Rhonda Creech (James), Melissa Krohn (Matthew), his grandchildren Jessalyn Sullivan (Adam), Madison Butt (Randy), Jordan Creech (Jessica), Samantha Quint (Anthony), Michael Cox III, Gabrielle Migues (Rocky), his great grandchildren Ely and Edyn Sullivan, Wyleigh Grace Butt, Riley, Presley, Lily and Amelia Quint, Rosaleigh and Fisher Migues, his sister in law Bernadette Everett and many nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

Pat loved his family and friends with all his heart. He will be greatly missed! He was know to not stop working when he was tired but when he was finished. Rest easy, your work here is done!
