Christopher Ras Leger, of Vancleave, MS, passed away on Thursday February 23,2023. He was only 40 years old. Our family is devastated by this loss. Christopher was born on April 23,1982 in Biloxi, MS.
Chris graduated from D’Iberville High School, and worked different jobs. He enjoyed the variety of life and thrill of learning new trades. At 24, Chris became a father to his son Timmy and when he was 25, he landed a job with MDOT. On August 9,2022 Chris was involved in an accident at work resulting in a traumatic brain injury. Chris fought a hard battle for 6 months before finally going home. He is predeceased by his mother Marion Pauline Leger, father Olen V. Leger and his brother Richard Leger. He is survived by his son Timmy Leger, brothers Perry (Dawn) Leger and Richard (Ashley) Giametta, Darlene Parker and sister Christina Morvant and her husband Matthew Morvant, his nephews Zach Leger, Ben Leger, PJ Leger, Colby Leger, Cable Leger, Aiden Leger, Cohen Leger, Chapter Morvant, Ryker Leger, Drake Giametta, Quentin Giametta, his nieces Bella Giametta and Evee Leger.
Chris was a busy man and never sat still for long. He was always working on something rather it be a car, his house, or helping someone with things they needed done. He loved his family very much.
Services are being held for Christopher Leger on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at 6631 Washington Ave., Ocean Springs, MS 39564 Southern Mississippi Funeral Services Chapel. Family and friends will be welcomed from 9:00 am-11:00am. Service will be held at 11:00am.
