He attended St. Martin Schools, and as a young adult moved to Wytheville, VA where he worked and raised his young children. Later returning to Biloxi, MS, he worked in the food service industry at the Isle of Capri Casino - then promoted to a position with Morrison Healthcare providing services through Memorial Driftwood Nursing Home.

Tim is preceded in death by his father, William Wiley Butt. Tim was an avid outdoor enthusiast. Hunting, Fishing, and Camping were some of his favorite past times. He also loved to sit at the Popps Ferry Pier and just enjoy his time with his sweet dog, Essex. He was a jokester and loved to make his friends and family laugh in every situation. He was an extremely hard worker and took pride in his job. He loved his family- as was evident through his prized possessions of photos and family keepsakes that decorated his home. Tim never met a stranger, and his smile could light up a room. He was a man of few words, but his legacy could write a book.
