Obituary for Cheryl Ann Clark (Brown)
It is with great sadness that the family of Cheryl Ann Clark, of Ocean Springs, MS announce her passing on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at the age of 69. She went home to be with the Lord surrounded by her loving family.
Cheryl was born on February 14, 1954 in Biloxi, MS and was a lifelong resident of Biloxi, MS. She was a wonderful, selfless, fun loving mother, grandmother and friend. She enjoyed spending time with her family and getting together with her friends for all night card games. She was so loved by everyone who had the pleasure of meeting her.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her loving husband of 42 years George Joseph Clark SR., and her brother Gene Brown.
Cheryl is survived by her children, Lynda Clark Rhodes, George Joseph Clark JR., and Babette Clark, four wonderful grandchildren, Jeffrey Garbutt, Shelbie Garbutt, Paul “Bubby” Clark, and Colten Clark; four great grand children, Lola Garbutt, Lucas Clark, Brantley Craig and Casey Clark; one sister, Vicky Reed (Jim Reed), three brothers, Benny Brown (Cassandra Brown), Marty Laton (Donna Laton), and Michael Brown
The services will be held Friday March 10, 2023 at Southern Mississippi Funeral home at 6631 Washington Ave Ocean Springs, MS 39564. Visitation will be from 3-6 with the service to follow directly after at 6.
