Obituary for Philomena Maria Salvage (Finlayson)

Philomena (Phyllis) Maria Finlayson Salvage, 87 passed away on the evening of
Thursday, May 18, 2023 to be with our Lord. She was survived by her husband,
Michael Augustus Salvage. Preceded in death by her parents Francis and Eileen
Reid Finlayson, sister Bernadette Simpson, brother Kenneth Finlayson. Survived
by her brother Frank Finlayson, and sister Jacinta Gethins.
Daughters, Helen (Julie) Jewel Nami Rose Massarini (Louis), and Celeste Marie
Rose (Sean Dees). Stepchildren, Revis Andrew Rose (Francis), Crawford Allen Rose
III (Kathryn), Liz Salvage Schilleci (Bill), Melissa Salvage Tatman, Michele Nami von
Hoven Harang (Allan), David Khalil Nami (Sharon), and Noel Nami Lizana (Charles).
Also survived by her loving grandchildren, Lauren Jewel Ramsey, Charles Andrew
Ramsey II, Justin Schilleci, Hunter Tatman, Julia Tatman, John Rose, and Jayne
Rose. Also survived by her loving nephew James Francis Simpson.
Born in Dublin Ireland and baptized at Aughrim Street Church. She was gifted in
piano and obtained a course completion certificate at the early age of 6 from
Trinity College, in Dublin Ireland, master of the Gaelic language, and a talented
Hair Stylist in London. Philomena set out for new adventures in America at the
age of 20, and it is there where she continued to live her life. She was a big
hearted, kind, and loving person with the protective instincts of a lioness. In the
years to follow she touched numerous lives with her inspiration, contagious smile
and laughter. She spread her love on the world and she will be greatly missed by
all who knew her.
An Irish Wake will take place on Saturday, June 17 th , 10816 Koloa Court,
Diamondhead, MS. At 4:00PM.
